The dataforest Cloud is live! After eighteen months of development, we're excited to introduce our completely self-developed self-service cloud.
The Cloud was built from the ground up and launches with cloud servers (we call them "Seeds") featuring:
- Automatic provisioning in seconds
- Hourly billing without minimum terms or cancellation periods
- Snapshots & backups managed directly in the Cloud
- Flexible scaling without support requests
- IPv6-only operation available
- Modern operating systems with UEFI and GPT
- Highly available storage on Ceph cluster
- Two-factor authentication
All systems continue to run on our own infrastructure in Frankfurt high-security data centers with our own redundant internet backbone.
The Cloud will continuously be expanded with additional features, products and locations. You can submit feedback and feature requests directly in the Cloud.
