You can now select an app from our catalog when creating a Seed and, if needed, provide settings such as an email address. The app is installed and set up automatically on the Seed's first boot. Depending on the app, this takes one to ten minutes, after which web apps are reachable directly via HTTPS.
Everything you need to get started is then available on the Seed in /root/ready.txt. The app runs on your Seed, and root access and updates remain entirely in your hands.
From our guides and via the API
Several of our guides have a matching app, for example Nextcloud or n8n. The app can be installed in one click directly from the guide, and the installation steps run automatically. Seeds with an app can also be created via our Public API.
We look forward to your feedback and are available for any questions as usual.
