Block Storage for your Seeds
You can now add extra disks to your Seeds with Block Storage. A volume can be grown while in use, and its data is kept when the Seed is reinstalled or deleted. We also give a first look ahead at our Black Week in November.
Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app
In addition to the email code, you can now add an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or 1Password for two-factor authentication.
WordPress, Nextcloud, Plesk and more in one click
You can now select an app such as WordPress, Nextcloud or Plesk when creating a Seed. The app is set up automatically on first boot and is ready to use within a few minutes.
ISOs for your Seeds, expanded team management and Performance line with dedicated resources
Mount an ISO from our catalog into a Seed and install the operating system yourself through the web console, from Arch Linux to Windows Server. Invite more people to your team and control their permissions with roles. Plus: the Performance line now runs on dedicated resources.
More control over DDoS protection and new cost alerts
Basic DDoS protection can now be disabled per IP address and re-enabled at any time. Also new: get an email as soon as your team's monthly costs exceed an amount you set.
Backups now survive deleting a Seed, plus a first look at GPU Seeds
Your backups now stay around even after you delete the Seed, and can be restored onto a new Seed for seven days. A new Backups page in the console gathers them all in one place. Plus: GPU Seeds are on the way, sign up to get notified.
Cloud-init for your Seeds
Let cloud-init set up new Seeds automatically on first boot. Add your user data in the console or via the Public API when creating a Seed.
Price adjustment for Standard and Performance models
Higher prices apply to new orders of the Standard and Performance models. Existing Seeds keep their current price.
June 2026 updates
Beyond firewalls and multiple IPv4 addresses, more improvements went live in June: the new Ubuntu 26.04 LTS image, an updated rescue system, more reliable registration SMS and invoice emails straight from the cloud.
